Look ahead to the Lunar New Year with a couple of fantastic workshops with West Yorkshire-based traditional Chinese artist, Su Yao, on the 25th of January. 

In two separate sessions, she'll be teaching us to paint plum blossoms (画梅花) and write the word 'fortune' (写福字) using traditional Chinese watercolour and calligraphy methods and materials, so you'll each go home with a beautiful piece to call your own.

Tickets are £10 for each workshop, or £16 for both workshops. There will be a 30-minute intermission between the sessions and refreshments (Chinese tea and snacks) will be provided in between for those attending both. 

Cards, bookmarks and art featuring Su Yao's work will also be available to buy in store on the day and after the workshops.
