About the event
Meet Lancashire author Joel Hames as he introduces us to his latest books, The Boatyard and The Viewpoint.
Joel's crime fiction includes the Dead North series, starring lawyer Sam Williams, and psychological thriller The Lies I Tell. His Cumbria Crime collaboration with award-winning author Rachel McLean concluded with its 8th book in February 2026. It is set predominantly in western Cumbria. He is currently working on a sequel series, as well as a police procedural series set in the Yorkshire Dales. When not writing, Joel likes to spend time with his family, play the piano, solve cryptic crosswords, and run at a pace best described as ‘dignified.’
Tickets are just £5, which include a welcome drink on the evening. Book and ticket options are also available, for just the price of the books.
