About the book:

Meet Georgie Codd. At the age of 31, she always thought that she would never experience having a father figure in her life, until a thought-provoking practical joke from a stranger made her start to wonder... Why not?

So began a search for a father figure — 'Dadverts' placed across newspapers, magazines and the depths of the internet. Through meetings, conversations and first-hand experiences of the intricacies of looking for family relationships with strangers, Georgie uncovers insights into family dynamics, the social and cultural constructs of parenthood and the true meaning of fatherhood.

Witty, insightful and poignant, this is a curious exploration of family in all its forms.
