Paths to Publication – with the British Fantasy Society

Are you an unpublished writer or someone who likes to know how things work behind the scenes? Come chat to a panel of people who've done it all (well, mostly).
We'll have writers from a range of publishing backgrounds, including traditional publishing, indie press publishing, and self-publishing. Join authors Keith Dickinson, Andrew Knighton and Emma Sterner-Radley as they share their experiences. Also joining us will be Northodox Press, a rapidly growing indie press who champion northern writers. Hear their stories and ask questions as we walk the Path to Publication together.
Tickets are just £5, redeemable against a copy of Keith, Andrew or Emma's latest publications. Each ticket includes a drink on the night.

Andrew Knighton
Andrew has dabbled in self-publishing, had books out through indie presses and been traditionally published with Orbit. He is currently publishing the much lauded Executioner Series through Northodox Press.
Emma Sterner-Radley
Emma has run the gauntlet of self-publishing, indie presses, getting an agent, and being traditionally
published. Her most recent book,
Snowblooded, came out in May 2024 with Solaris to high acclaim.
Keith Dickinson
Keith is a self-
published author of steampunk, fantasy, and cosy crime of varying lengths. He was short-listed for the Lindisfarne Prize 2019, and his novella Glunda The Veg Witch was a finalist for the Book Blogger Novel of the Year Award 2024.
Northodox Press
